#4~ Carly: Onondaga Tribe

It isn't every day that I consider what Indian tribe I would be apart of, based on their values. But I am going to think about this today in Mrs. Burman's English 11 class. Between the Onondaga, Modoc, Navajo, and Iriquios tribes, I think I would best fit into the Onondaga tribe. Why? They are kind, welcoming, and hospitable, which are qualities that I  strive to continually display. They also value marriage, and I grew up seeing marriage as a holy matrimony created by God. In the Onondaga myth, the animals risk their own lives in order to help the woman survive. I would like to think in similar, parallel situations, I would do the same.
