When writing my Gothic Literature essay, I learned the requirements that a piece must contain to be considered as such. In addition, I learned a "prove-it" writing style that consists of the audience saying "No, that's not Gothic Literature," and me disagreeing while supporting my argument with evidence. This mentality adds passion to writing, making it more enjoyable to both write and read. This writing style will benefit me throughout the rest of my schooling.
